Val D'asso's Fields, located in Asciano, Italy, is a mesmerizing 1,750 hectare open space filled with rolling hills, wild flowers and lush vegetation. The area consists of old farm buildings, olive groves, vineyards, and traditional Tuscan countryside. Val D'asso's Fields provides a pastoral experience, with walking paths and trails for visitors to enjoy as well as plenty of spots for taking in the stunning views and appreciating the unique wildlife. Owned by the State, it is open year-round and free of charge. Its biodiversity includes marine species from the coastline to the Apennine Mountains, rivers, wild and rare animals and plants, and colorful birds. Visitors can experience a taste of ‘real’ Tuscany by hiking the fields, eating in the nearby restaurants and exploring the area’s nearby villages.
