Vetteberget is the granite hill rising above Fjällbacka, a fishing village on Sweden’s Bohuslän coast. From its summit, the compact harbor, red and white wooden houses, and church sit beneath a broad sweep of islands, skerries, and sheltered channels. The view reveals how closely the settlement is shaped by the rocky coastline: buildings cluster in the narrow space between steep stone and sea. For photographs, the pale granite foreground and layered archipelago give the scene depth, while boats and waterfront activity add scale. The ascent from the village includes steep steps and uneven rock, including routes associated with the dramatic Kungsklyftan cleft.
