Utrecht Station
ūüďć Netherlands
Utrecht Station is the main railway station in Utrecht, Netherlands. Located in the city center, it is the busiest station in the country with over 200 trains arriving and departing daily. It is also one of the oldest surviving stations in the Netherlands, having opened in 1843. Utrecht Station is known for its neo-Gothic architecture, which is reminiscent of the style found in many churches and historical structures across the city. It also contains an original wooden ticket hall, train shed and signal box. Inside the modernist hall, there is a wide variety of shops, services and restaurants. There is also a 24-hour ticketing office, bike rental and connections to several other European cities. From here, travelers can explore not only the city of Utrecht but also nearby towns and villages, or take a trip out to the Dutch coast.
