USS Chicago Anchor is a sight to behold in the Windy City. Located in the Museum Campus in Chicago, this metal anchor from the USS Chicago is a stark reminder of the city's proud naval legacy. The anchor is one of the largest of its kind, over 52 feet long and weighing about 42,000lbs. It was constructed between 1880 and 1883 and served at sea for over a century before being retired in 1993. It's still an impressive sight today! You won't want to miss it if you're in Chicago.
