Ushijima Shrine, in Sumida City, Japan, is a unique combination of shinto and Buddhist beliefs. The shrine is home to the deities Inari and Ushimajo, as well as sometimes holding events from its many local festivals. This is an important spiritual site for locals, making it a popular spot for visitors too. It is known for its vibrant red Japanese gateway, beautiful Shinto buildings and Shoin-style architecture. The complex also features a lovely pond, a historical graveyard and the Meigetsu-in temple. With many green trees and seasonal flowers, it is the perfect place to go for a peaceful stroll.
