Urdaibai biosferako erreserba is an impressive biosphere reserve located in the province of Vizcaya in the Basque Community of Spain. This protected area encompasses the estuarine environment of the Urdaibai River, with rivers, dunes, marshy wetlands, inlets and many other landscapes. The biosphere reserve has a great variety of flora and fauna, making it a paradise for nature lovers. The area is also great for canoeing, kayaking, hiking and bird-watching. Many of the birds, reptiles and mammals that inhabit the biosphere reserve are endangered and need extra protection, making it the perfect spot for nature enthusiasts. It's also the ideal spot for taking a dip, but swimming is only allowed on permitted beaches. Guided tours are available throughout the year, letting visitors explore and admire this breathtaking place.
