Upper Antelope Canyon is a remarkable slot canyon located in LeChee, Arizona, USA. It was formed by erosion and years of water rushing through over thousands of years. The canyon features red and orange walls that look like flowing tapestries, due to the minerals running through them. The canyon is a popular place for photographers and travelers, as the walls create stunningly beautiful images and the canyon itself feels surreal. The light coming through the entrance of the canyon illuminates the walls from within, creating a kaleidoscopic display. To enter the canyon, visitors must book a tour as it is now owned and managed by the Navajo Nation. The tours are led by experienced and knowledgeable guides, who provide information about the canyon and its culture and history. The tours last anywhere from one to two hours, depending on the type of tour booked. Be sure to bring sunscreen and layered clothing as the heat can be intense inside the canyon.
