Unstad Chapel is a fantastic place to visit or simply admire from afar. It is located in Vestvågøy, Norway and is one of the oldest chapels in the area, having been established in 1618. It is unique among other chapels as it is the northernmost chapel in the geography.

The chapel is famous for its breathtaking views and spectacular from any angle. It is situated atop a cliff and one can get some unbeatable pictures of the Lofoten archipelago. The walls of the chapel are made of the traditional turf and stone, giving the chapel an even more rustic and traditional appearance. Just nearby Unstad Chapel lies on a beautiful beach which can be accessed down the cliff. This beach has captivating white sand, crystal clear blue water and a picturesque landscape. During the summer, it's a great spot for swimming, surfing and a variety of other activities. Arrival and departure to Unstad Chapel is through a ferry service which operates throughout western and southern Lofoten islands. The chapel is open for prayer and visiting all year round, making it a great destination for travellers looking for a unique experience.
