Ucluelet Small Craft Harbour is a working marina on sheltered Ucluelet Inlet, close to the town centre on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast. Fishing boats, docks, floats and marine equipment reflect the community’s longstanding connection to the sea, giving the waterfront a distinctly practical character rather than the feel of a resort marina. The most recognizable images layer vessel masts and hulls against forested shores, with calm water often creating broken reflections. Shifting tides, low cloud and coastal mist continually alter the scene, while harbour activity adds scale and a sense of daily life.
