Rising dramatically from the swirling waves of the Southern Ocean along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road in southwestern Australia, these limestone stacks were formed by centuries of erosion, creating a breathtaking coastal spectacle. Weather conditions shift their hues throughout the day, offering a different perspective from each viewing point. The best vantage points are found along the cliff-top trails, dotted with scenic lookouts. Helicopter tours reveal the rugged coastline from above, while a visit at sunrise or sunset frames the scene with vivid colors. Close to Port Campbell National Park, it’s also an excellent base for exploring nearby natural wonders like Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge.
