Located in Genk, Belgium, the Tunnel and C-Mine Experience is an interactive museum experience like no other. Here, guests are taken on a journey back in time and into a former coal mine. Through guided tours, educational workshops and multimedia shows, visitors learn about the cultural, historical and social significance of the site. The tour takes guests into the depths of the mine, into the coal depot and onto a train ride. Along the way, you'll encounter tons of remarkable objets and models, while discovering new perspectives on the area’s industrial past. Other points of interest include the Cauldron, a water collection space, and the Ex-Mine building, displaying the original mining tools and machines. There is something for everyone at this unique and interesting museum.
