
Tulancingo de Bravo, commonly known as Tulancingo or simply Tulasas, is a municipality located in the state of Hidalgo, in the central highlands of Mexico. It is located at an altitude of 2,280 meters and its population is of just over 68,000 inhabitants. Rich in culture, the city was founded in 1577 and today is known for its great and relevant importance in the arts and in the traditional civic-religious festivities celebrated each year. The colonial-style Main Square, flanked by the Parish of our Lady of Guadalupe, is the main attraction of the city. Although parks, cultural centers and markets are some of the interesting places that Tulancingo de Bravo has to offer. Furthermore, the Pyramids of Zempoala and Techajalpan are archaeological sites with great importance. The Museum of PopularArt and Natural History and the Carlos Ramirez Basilio Archaeological Museum are other attractions that you can visit in Tulancingo.
