Tsunoshima Bridge, located in Shimonoseki, Japan, is one of the longest bridges in the country. Spanning 3.4 km, it offers spectacular views of the Seto Inland Sea. On one side of the bridge lies the Tsunoshima Island, and the other side's destination point is the city of Karato. The bridge itself is its own attraction; it features tall, truss arch pylons and dramatically lit cable stays. There are also frequent sightings of dolphins, so keep an eye out! For the best views, visitors can choose to walk along the bridge, ride a bike, or even take a cruise from the city of Karato to Tsunoshima. There are lots of restaurants and cafes on Tsunoshima island, as well as a lighthouse overlooking the bridge. No matter how you choose to explore the island, you’ll find plenty of mesmerizing scenes and photo opportunities!
