📍 United Kingdom
Tryfan is a rugged mountain rising above the eastern end of Llyn Ogwen in Eryri (Snowdonia), southeast of Bangor. Its serrated ridges and steep gullies give it a distinctive outline within the glacially carved Ogwen Valley. Two upright summit rocks, known as Adam and Eve, form a recognizable landmark, though they are small details within the mountain’s imposing scale. From beside the lake, the water provides a low foreground beneath rocky buttresses, scree slopes and the jagged skyline. Reaching the summit involves scrambling over rock rather than following a straightforward walking path.
