Truckee River is one of Reno’s main natural attractions. Meandering through the city, the river flows along some of the area's most iconic views. Along its path, rolling hills and lush meadows flank the river. The underside of several local bridges are popular for fishing and boating, with the waters teeming with Truckee River rainbows. This spot is great for a peaceful, urban stroll, to take in the sights, smells, and sounds of nature. Just remember to stay on the designated trails. The corresponding Truckee River Trail is a multi-use trail suitable for biking, running, or walking. Additionally, the river is an easy run to Burns Park with its paved paths, perfect for an active day out.
