📍 From Riverside, Czechia
Troja Bridge is a popular bridge located in Prague, Czechia, connecting Bartolomejska street and Trojská street in the Troja district. It is approximately 280 meters long and 11 meters wide, and it is the widest bridge over the Vltava river in Prague. It is crossed by about 20 thousand vehicles every day and features nine lanes for cars (3+3 in both directions) and the tramway (1+1 in both directions). On the bridge there are two modern sculptures, the "Turtles”, located at its two ends. Those two bronze sculptures were created by Czech artist David Černý and were unveiled in 2004. 2019 saw the entrance of the first walk/cycling lane. Troja Bridge is a nice spot to take photos of the Prague Castle and a great place to walk or cycle and admire the breathtaking views of the river, the city and its monuments.
