Trevose Head Lighthouse is a picturesque red-and-white striped landmark located on cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at the tip of Cornwall in the Southwest of England. The lighthouse stands solidly in its place overlooking a dramatic seascape, with the historic landscape surrounding it showing smooth rolling hills, and wild grasses adorning the surrounding cliffs. The existing lighthouse was first lit in 1847 and is still maintained by Trinity House, the official body that operates and maintains lighthouses in the United Kingdom. It is one of the few lighthouses open to the public, so visitors can climb up the stairs and explore its amazing interior as well as take in the stunning views from the top. It's also a very popular spot for photographers, with the prized views helping photographers capture the crashing surf below and the southwest coastal scenery.
