Tresilian Bay Beach is a small, pebbly cove on the Bristol Channel coast, west of Llantwit Major in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. Its layered limestone and shale cliffs belong to the Jurassic geology that gives this coastline its distinctive profile. Rounded beach stones contrast with the horizontal bands of the cliff faces, while retreating water reveals rocky ledges across the foreshore. The changing tide alters the composition of the bay: exposed rock dominates at low water, whereas higher water brings the sea closer to the shingle and cliff backdrop. The Wales Coast Path connects this stretch of shoreline with Llantwit Major Beach to the east and St Donats to the west.
