
The Treppe "Jägerstieg" zum Nordstrand, in Helgoland, Germany, is an imposing staircase on the cliffs of the North Beach that leads to a viewing platform with spectacular views of Helgoland's North Beach and the North Sea. From its highest point, you can admire faraway views of the waves crashing against the rocks. The stairs were built in the 19th century and were last restored in the 1970s. The way to the top of the stairs isn't particularly difficult, but there are about 120 steps. Along the way, visitors can admire the beautiful panoramic views of Helgoland’s unique coastline. At the bottom, there is a small café with fantastic views.
