The Trein station Zaandam is a railway station in Zaandam, Netherlands. It is located in the Noord district of the city and is served by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) rail network. The station provides local services to the nearby cities and villages as well as international services to Germany, Belgium and the rest of the Netherlands. The station is a part of the north-south line from Amsterdam to Den Helder, and features four tracks. It has an information center and ticket office. Alerdingestraat bus station is located just outside the station, offering direct services into Amsterdam and other destinations. The services at the station are frequent and reliable, which makes it one of the busiest stations in the area.
