Tréguier Cathedral is an iconic structure in the small town of Tréguier in Brittany, France. It is a 12th century Roman Catholic cathedral constructed in the classic Gothic style. The facade features towers, arches and large windows while the interior is adorned with spectacular stained-glass artwork. The most prominent feature in the interior is an ornate crucifix made from Maine stone and wood. The grounds of the cathedral feature portions of the old fortifications that defended the town in medieval times. Visitors to the cathedral can also admire the nearby ruins of the 14th century bishop's palace. There is also a museum with many artifacts and artworks related to the history of the town.
