Tre Archi is the monumental gateway to Petritoli’s historic centre, a hill town in the Marche province of Fermo. Built in 1872, the brick structure is distinguished by three openings, with a tall pointed central arch flanked by smaller round arches and defensive-looking towers. Its blend of medieval references and nineteenth-century design gives the entrance a theatrical quality. The balanced façade, warm masonry and layered views through the arches create strong frames for the narrow streets and buildings beyond, while side angles emphasize the gateway’s depth and scale.
