📍 United States
The "Traveling Man Sculpture - Walking Tall" is one of the most iconic and recognizable sculptures in Dallas. It stands at the corner of Main St. and Ervay St. It was made in 1984 by Treatment Kenneth Shorr and is named after the lead character in the movie "Walking Tall". The 11 foot long and 9 foot tall bronze sculpture features two men standing facing each other. The statue symbolizes the citizenry’s desire to conquer all the odds and stand tall as a sign of strength. The statue is open to the public to view and take pictures of, though it's always important to be respectful when doing so and follow the park rules.
