Travelers Tower is a prominent historic landmark in downtown Hartford, completed in 1919 as the headquarters of the Travelers Insurance Company. Rising 24 stories above street level, it once proudly held the title of the seventh-tallest building in the world. The tower’s ornate lobby and classic architectural elements reflect early 20th-century design, offering an impressive backdrop for photos. While tours are not regularly open to the public, a visit to the surrounding area provides excellent views of the building. Nearby attractions include Bushnell Park, the Wadsworth Atheneum, and historic landmarks that showcase Hartford’s cultural and architectural heritage.
