
Trani Castle is an important historical site located in the beautiful coastal town of Trani, in the Puglia region of Italy. Built in the 11th century, this medieval castle sits atop a hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Its white limestone facade is adorned with towers and crenellations, making for an impressive sight. Its ground floor hosts two museums where visitors can learn about the town's history and culture. One of the towers of the castle houses a chapel. On the upper floor is the Palazzo della Loggia, an impressive Rococo building that contains an even bigger chapel. From the roof of the castle, visitors can enjoy amazing views of the sea, the harbor, and the town.
