Train Station in Łódź, Poland is one of the oldest and most impressive railway stations in the country. Built between 1839 and 1883, the station shows the history of the city and its grandiose architecture. This imposing building is located in close proximity to some of the major sites in Łódź, including the historic Piotrkowska Street, one of the longest commercial streets in Europe. The station has four stories and features detailed ornamentation, a clock tower, and statues adorning the roof. Inside, there are restaurants, cafes, shops, and a chapel. It also houses the Łódź Museum of Railways which has an impressive collection of railway-related items. The station has two platforms, so travelers should be careful of the train arriving when making a connection. There are services to many cities in Poland, as well as direct international connection to Berlin, Moscow, and Vienna.
