Tour Bretagne is one of the most iconic landmarks in Nantes, France. Built in the 15th century, a vast staircase leads up to a platform at its peak; take the 243 steps to enjoy impressive views of the cityscape. The exterior of the structure is made of pink sandstone and limestone, with a crowned spire topping it off. The tower was likely used to guide ships in the harbour, and is now home to some unique animal sculptures. Tour Bretagne can be found adjacent to the Musée des Beaux-Arts and the Place du Commerce.
