Torre Sevilla y Torre Triana make up part of the 12th-century Almohad city walls of Sevilla, Spain. Dating back to the 12th century, these two towers stand at the entrance to Seville and were used to protect the city. Torre Sevilla is a square-shaped fortress with a tower attached and Torre Triana is a taller, circular tower with an impressive four-point star inscribed on the top. Together, the two towers are a symbol of the city and offer excellent views of the city's charming cobbled streets, churches, monuments and orange tree- lined courtyards. The towers are also a popular spot for sightseers and photographers given the unique Islamic architecture and quaint cityscape vistas.
