The Torre Eptagonale rises above Piazza Castello in Moresco, a compact hill town in the Marche countryside of Fermo province. Built as part of the medieval fortified settlement, the tower is distinguished by its unusual seven-sided plan, which gives the village skyline a sharply faceted profile. Its brick surfaces, narrow openings and strong vertical lines contrast with the arcaded square and clustered terracotta roofs below. From different points around the piazza, the changing angles create pronounced bands of light and shadow; elevated views extend across the Aso Valley toward the Adriatic coast and the Sibillini Mountains.
