The Torre Eptagonale is the defining landmark of Moresco, a compact medieval hill town in the Marche overlooking the Aso Valley. Rising beside Piazza Castello, the brick tower is distinguished by its unusual seven-sided plan, which gives the structure shifting angles and a different profile from each approach. Its strong vertical form contrasts with the piazza’s arcades, tiled roofs and tightly layered masonry, while the hilltop setting opens toward the cultivated ridges of the surrounding countryside. Warm light accentuates the brick textures and geometric facets, and wider views show how the tower still anchors Moresco’s fortified skyline.
