The Torre dell'Orologio, or Clock Tower, is a distinctive bell tower located in Padova, Italy. It stands at around 120 feet tall, and is decorated with colorful frescoes. There are five delicate bells in the belfry, which chime regularly throughout the day. The clock face on the tower is decorated with roman numerals and a large golden statue of St. Mark stands at the top. Tourists can climb the stairs of the tower for a stunning view of the city. It is part of the historic Piazza delle Erbe in the heart of Padova. The square is known for its many cafes and restaurants, as well as its bustling open-air market.
