The Torre dell’Orologio is a civic landmark in the historic center of Montefiore dell’Aso, a hill town in the southern Marche countryside near the Adriatic coast. Rising above the compact fabric of brick buildings and tiled roofs, the clock face gives the tower a clear public role as well as making it an easy visual anchor in the townscape. Its warm masonry, simple geometry and vertical scale reflect the architectural character of the old center, while nearby streets and squares offer layered views of the tower framed by arches, façades and narrow lanes.
