Torre dei Prendiparte is a historical castle situated in the heart of Bologna, Italy. It stands 43 metres high and is believed to have been built in the 11th century for Bologna's ruling aristocratic family, the Prendiparte. The building offers stunning views of the city, including the red-brick roofs of Bologna and its many churches and towers. Tourists can take guided tours of the inner structures of the castle, many of which have been preserved in their original state. Visitors can also climb the stairs to the top for a panoramic view of Bologna, with the Serena Valley and Savena River far in the background.
