Torre dei Caduti (Tower of the Fallen) is a monumental symbol of WWII located in Bergamo, Italy. Standing 27 meters high, it was erected at the end of the conflict to commemorate the 925 fallen soldiers from the Bergamo area. The tower is a noteworthy example of the Neo-Romanesque style, built in bricks and stones. It holds a 7 meter tall bronze statue of a female allegory in high-relief, which faces the Rossa Valley and marks the end of the historic city center of Bergamo.
