The Torre de Paterna is a unique tower located in the Pleasant Mountains in Paterna, Spain. Constructed of both granite and sandstone, it has withstood the elements for centuries. This beautiful tower stands at a majestic 25 meters (82 feet) and has served many purposes over the years, including being a defensive structure to watch out for potential invaders, a lookout post for religious activities and ceremonies. The remains of the tower from the 11th century are visible from miles away, with many pieces of the original building still visible.
