Tongue Point
📍 From Drone, Australia
Tongue Point is a narrow granite headland on the western coast of Wilsons Promontory National Park, north of Tidal River in Victoria. Reached on foot from the Darby River or Darby Saddle walking tracks, it projects into Bass Strait amid rounded boulders, coastal heath and small coves. The scene is characteristic of “the Prom”: pale, weathered granite contrasting with deep-blue water and low, wind-shaped vegetation. From the rocks, the coastline unfolds in overlapping headlands, while the west-facing outlook gives late-day light a clear path across the sea and textured stone.
