📍 Brazil
Tômbolo da Praia do Meio is a narrow sandy link between the shore and a rocky outcrop at Praia do Meio, in the coastal village of Trindade, south of Paraty. Formed as waves bend around the rocks and deposit sediment in their lee, it creates two adjoining arcs of beach and gives the bay its distinctive outline. The scene combines pale sand, dark granite, Atlantic Forest vegetation and open ocean, with the paired coves producing strong curves and natural symmetry in photographs. Its shape and width shift with tides, waves and seasonal movement of sand, making the meeting point between land and sea the defining visual feature.
