Tombe dei Glossari - S. Francesco and Piazza Malpighi are both located in the heart of the Italian city of Bologna. The tombs at S. Francesco, which date back to the 16th century, are particularly impressive, with intricate marble sculptures adorning the walls and ceiling of the structure. The piazza Malpighi is a charming public square with an array of restaurants and cafes, and plenty of energy thanks to its location near one of the city’s most popular centres. There are a handful of historic monuments and buildings in this area, such as the Church of Santa Cristina, the old prison and the ‘Touch of Venice’. Locals and visitors alike frequent the cafes, restaurants and shops in the area, or simply wander the streets and admire the historic architecture.
