Bitexco Financial Tower rises in District 1, near Nguyễn Huệ Boulevard and the Saigon River, as one of central Ho Chi Minh City’s defining modern landmarks. Completed in 2010, the 262.5-metre skyscraper was designed by Carlos Zapata Studio with a tapered profile commonly associated with a lotus bud. Its most recognizable feature is the projecting helipad, which interrupts the curved glass façade and gives the tower an unmistakable silhouette. From street level, surrounding low-rise blocks emphasize its scale, while views from across the river or along Nguyễn Huệ place it within the dense city skyline. The Saigon Skydeck on the 49th floor provides broad views over the urban grid, river bends, bridges, and rapidly changing waterfront.
