Tirta Gangga is a stunning and sacred water temple located in Ababi, Indonesia. The name of the temple translates to “water from the Ganges”, as it is said to bring blessings in abundance. The temple is composed of pools and fountains surrounded by lush tropical gardens, complete with statues, stone carvings and fragrant flowers. A stone bridge crosses over a clear but shallow lake, while fountains splash and two main temples complete the scene. The site is a place of pilgrimage for Hindus from all over Bali, who come to make offerings of flowers, fruit, and incense during festivals and special occasions. The beauty of the grounds and structures make for incredible photography and an unforgettable spiritual experience.
