Thyborøn Küstenbatterie is an ancient coastal fortress in Lemvig Municipality, Denmark. Built by German forces in 1942 as part of their fortifications of the Bay of Aabenraa, the fortress is now a popular tourist spot. The battery is one of many coastal fortresses built by the German Wehrmacht during the Second World War. It is well-preserved and still contains some of its original equipment. Visitors can explore the interior passageways, guns emplacements and more. There is a museum at the site too. Thyborøn Küstenbatterie offers a fascinating glimpse into wartime history for those interested in military history or architecture. It is also an ideal spot for panoramic photos of the coastline and bay.
