Thyborøn is a fishing port town and an industrial hub in Lemvig Municipality, Denmark. It is surrounded by both shallow waters and deep fjords, and steep cliffs fill the atmosphere. Visitors will find plenty of charming fishing harbours and the popular Thyborøn Harbour, which is home to the Offshore Centre. The centre is home to the world's second largest wind turbine structure and the largest offshore wind farm in the North Sea. There's also plenty of greenery and a wide variety of birds and sealife to appreciate. Despite its quiet atmosphere, the town has plenty of activities to offer: including a modern aquarium, which also acts as a maritime museum; and the The Marine Computing Centre, where visitors can learn about the navigation and engineering advances of the area.
