The iconic Wrigley Building is located on North Michigan Avenue, in Chicago, Illinois. It was opened in 1921 and originally named the "William Wrigley Jr. Building", in honor of the American chewing gum magnate, William W. Wrigley, Jr. Since then, it has come to symbolize the spirit of Chicago as well as the grandeur of its architecture. The building was constructed using white terra cotta, with two towers that reach a height of 98 ft. and 50 ft., respectively. The landmark features detailed carvings and intricate sculptures, earning its place as one of the most eye-catching structures in the area. Inside, visitors can spot original art deco designs and get a glimpse of its past as a bustling office complex. Today, the Wrigley Building serves as a gateway to the Magnificent Mile as well as a popular photo-op.
