
The Wise Old Man of Kaunas is a unique and eye-catching landmark in the city. It is a bronze sculpture of an elderly man wearing a hat and leaning on a walking stick, which was created by esteemed sculptor Vytautas Kašuba in 1987. The Wise Old Man is located in the city center, in the heart of the old town. It is symbolically looking out over the city and its inhabitants.
