Smögen Bridge (Smögenbron) links the island of Smögen with Kungshamn in Bohuslän, on Sweden’s west coast. Opened in 1970, the concrete road bridge connects two coastal communities shaped by fishing and seafaring. Its elevated span offers broad views across the channel, boat harbors and rocky archipelago. From the waterfront, the long deck and tall supports contrast with low, rounded granite outcrops and tightly grouped houses, making the bridge a striking marker of scale in a landscape otherwise defined by small islands and sheltered waterways.
