A short funicular takes you to elevation of 1053 ft and offers unparalleled views of Downtown Austin, the Colorado River, and the Texas Hill Country beyond. You can also hike the steps up the mountain for a more rewarding experience. The view of the sun setting over the horizon is truly magnificent. The area also features a museum and art gallery.
