The Neck is a narrow strip of land connecting North and South Bruny Islands in Tasmania, Australia. It's an excellent place with stunning views over both islands. Take a walk along the boardwalk and easy hiking trails through open woods, with scenic sea views across Great Taylors Bay. Enjoy the array of wildlife, including resident wedge-tailed eagles, fur seals, and a variety of colorful birdlife. Also, keep your eyes open for the rare sighting of the white wallaby amongst the ferns! Or, observe the Australian Fur Seals, spending their sun-filled days relaxing on the rocks at the island’s southern tip. The views of the two islands meeting at the very narrow isthmus is a spectacular sight and an ideal spot to take some gorgeous photographs.
