The Law and Parker's Piece is a large open green space located in the centre of Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. It covers an area of 18 hectares and is one of four large public open spaces in the city. It is popular among locals and visitors alike and is used for a variety of activities such as walking, running, kite flying, and wind surfing. The Law is the site of a former artillery practice ground and the site of the first football match in England in 1848. Parker’s Piece is also a significant site and is the subject of a public art project. It was a popular spot for fairs and festivals and was once a favourite location for early photographers. The Law and Parker's Piece are now popular locations for picnics and relaxation, with a number of facilities located within the grounds. There is also a large children's playground to keep the kids entertained. The park is easily accessible by public transport and open 24 hours a day.
