
The Doak House in Greeneville, United States is believed to have been built circa 1805 and is one of the oldest buildings in the city. It is owned by the Greeneville Historical Society and is an excellent example of an early 19th century house. It has a very unique structure and has over 20 rooms including a basement and attic. It also includes a kitchen outhouse, two-story log stable, spring house, smokehouse, and small stone building. Visitors can also find the very old Doak Grist Mill which is located near the house. You can explore the house and the grounds to get a glimpse of the history of the area. The gardens around the house are carefully restored according to the original plans. You can also find a visitor's center to purchase gifts from the Doak House Museum.
