The Central Market of Valencia (Mercado Central in Valencian) is located in the heart of the city of València, Spain. It was built in the early 20th century in the neo-Mudéjar style and is one of the best examples of the city’s modernist Architecture. Inside the market you will find a maze of narrow alleys filled with hundreds of vendors selling a wide range of products including fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, cheese, pastries and many other goodies. After exploring the market you can find coffee shops, bars and several local eateries.
